Brussels is a global, multicultural, cosmopolitan city; a hybrid city with about one million and six hundred thousand travelers in transit every day. We’ve realized through this journey that the majority of projects in Brussels undergo the influence of the European Community, adding a certain complexity to the urban planning of the city.
Not afraid of the weather, Darrell (ODOS architects) guides us in discovering the city and its architecture. Following a passionate itinerary, through variety and unicity, we tried to soak up the very essence of this Ireland's new architectural culture.
LAN visited Copenhagen last July. Inspired and entertained by Bjarke approach; he guides us through his understanding of cultural connections between the social realm and architecture. We talk about creativity, democracy, language, icons and market, as key components of what made possible the “Danish architectural Renaissance”.
